Summary

One in this series of live interview programs. In this edition, host Edward R. Murrow first visits the home of Senator John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline. Kennedy discusses his courtship, his apartment, and his World War II combat experience. Murrow and Kennedy also discuss U.S. military power and the Senate Labor Committee, of which Kennedy is a member. Jacqueline Kennedy displays a wedding present and the senator talks about the economy and his own busy schedule. The program continues with a visit with General and Mrs. William Dean. General Dean, who for three years was a prisoner of Korean Communists, talks about his return to the U.S., his Congressional Medal of Honor, and his imprisonment. Includes commercials.
