Summary

One in this series of live interview programs. In this edition, host Edward R. Murrow first visits the Hollywood home of film stars Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart. They discuss film versus stage acting, their own theatrical characteristics (Bogart as a "Tough Guy," Bacall's "Look"), and some of their possessions, including a special whistle from "To Have and Have Not" (1944), their first picture together. The program continues with a visit with composer Alec Templeton and his wife in Greenwich, Connecticut. The blind composer, arranger, and performer plays bagpipes and shows his grandfather clock and part of his enormous record collection. Mrs. Templeton displays her collection of music boxes. Templeton plays the piano, including an impromptu portrait of host Murrow. Includes commercials.
