PHILCO TELEVISION PLAYHOUSE: THE RICH BOY (TV)

Summary

One in this series of live dramas. Based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, this program concerns a wealthy man, Anson Hunter, who loses his fiancee Paula as a result of his stubborn, selfish ways. He takes up with Dolly, but the romance ends when he admits he doesn't love her. An accidental encounter with Paula and her second husband prods Anson to confess undying love for her before he sneaks away. Includes commercials for Philco.
