One in this series of children's variety programs, hosted by the Mouseketeers (child performers wearing mouse-ear hats), featuring newsreels, musical production numbers, and Walt Disney live action serials and cartoons.

This program opens with a "Mickey Mouse Club Newsreel" covering the following events: teenagers in New York practicing magic tricks; children in Berlin reaping the benefits of having an American library; children in San Francisco enjoying a miniature boat created just for individuals that are their size; youngsters in Chicago adopting pets; children in Japan visiting an ancient castle; and youngsters in Kentucky competing in the National Baton Twirling Contest. Next, four of the Mouseketeers visit a fire station where they become rookie firefighters. The rookies learn about the nozzles attached to hoses and how to put out oil and gasoline fires. Next is an episode of the Disney serial "The Hardy Boys in The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure" entitled "The Prisoner Speaks." In it, Mr. Hardy and Frank and Joe capture a man they believe has stolen a treasure of gold, but the prisoner will not confess to his crime. In the following segment, Mouseketeer Jimmie marvels at the advances being made in the technological age. Finally, a cartoon entitled "Springtime for Pluto" is shown, in which Pluto discovers the wonders and mishaps of spring. Includes commercials.
