WAY OUT {'WAY OUT}: DISSOLVE TO BLACK (TV)

Summary

One in this fantasy/science fiction anthology series, hosted by Roald Dahl. In this episode, a young actress named Bonnie Draco finds that her first television acting job is much more than she had bargained for. As the replacement for another actress, Bonnie arrives at the studio, encounters an impatient director, and rehearses a scene in which she plays a murdered crime witness. After the run-through, the director dismisses the rest of the cast and crew members and asks Bonnie to stay so that they can work on her scene. The young actress soon finds herself in a terrifying alternate reality with a "night crew" of actors who do not pretend when they enact a murder scene. Includes a commercial, a promo, and a public service announcement.
