WAY OUT {'WAY OUT}: I HEARD YOU CALLING ME (TV)

Summary

One in this fantasy/science fiction anthology series, hosted by Roald Dahl. In this episode, Freda Mansfield prepares to run away with her married lover, George Forbisher, but a series of disturbing telephone calls disrupt her well-laid plans. The calls are from a woman named Rose Thorn who utters the following warning: "You are not going to ruin George's marriage tonight because you are coming with me." Rose then informs Freda that she is on her way over to the hotel where Freda is staying. Freda is only slightly disturbed at first, but as the calls become more frequent and insistent she begins to fear for her life and sanity. Freda's fear reaches a climax when Rose calls from the lobby to say that she is on her way up to the room. Includes commercials.

Cataloged in memory of Reuben Joseph, who shared this with his son.
