Summary
One in this drama series that reveals David Lynch's sinister, surreal portrait of small-town life. Highlights in this episode include the following: Ben and Jerry plan a party for visiting Icelanders; Agent Cooper discovers vital clues in Jacques' apartment; Shelly lies and tells Andy that she overheard Leo and Jacques arguing over Laura; Audrey persuades her new employer, Emory Battis, to place her in the perfume department so she find clues that might help Agent Cooper; James and Donna ask Madeleine to help them investigate Laura's death; Bobby talks to Dr. Jacoby about his relationship with Laura; and Hawk leads the investigators to Margaret's home, where she tells her log to reveal cryptic clues. Other highlights include the following: Hawk leads his colleagues to another cabin, where the investigators discover blood, film, and a poker chip from One-Eyed Jacks; Audrey overhears Catherine arguing with Ben; Leland has a breakdown on the dance floor at the Timber Room, but the Icelanders think he is performing new dance steps; Madeleine tells Donna that she has found a cassette tape in Laura's bedpost; Josie and Ben decide to proceed with a plan that involves the second ledger; Leo pushes Shelly, who pulls a gun on Leo and shoots him; and Agent Cooper discovers a naked Audrey waiting for him in his bed.
