YOU'RE IN THE PICTURE {FINAL EPISODE} (TV)
Summary
Second and last episode of this short-lived game show hosted by Jackie Gleason. Claiming that "honesty is the best policy," Gleason devotes the entire show to a good-humored account of "You're in the Picture" and reminiscences of other flops he has been involved with, including the film "Navy Blues." Apologizing for the previous week's disastrous premiere, Gleason runs through the origins of the show's concept, describes its initial appeal to him and his staff, and discusses the impact of the premiere on staff morale. No end credits. Includes commercials for L&M cigarettes with Gleason; the L&M $169,000 Sweepstakes; and Kellogg's Special K cereal with Dennis James.
