ZSA ZSA GABOR SHOW, THE {LUCILLE BALL, MARTY ALLEN, ADAM WEST, STEVE LOGAN} {UNAIRED PILOT} (TV)

Summary

This unsold talk show pilot features host Zsa Zsa Gabor. The program begins as Gabor takes the stage and chats with announcer Bob Warren about her two Hungarian dogs and their expensive eating habits, and then welcomes "Batman" actor Adam West to the stage. Gabor and West discuss his "woman-chasing" habits; his interest in sports; and a funny sailing incident in Bora-Bora. Lucille Ball then joins the conversation, and she and Gabor discuss "fascinating men," including Bernard Baruch, Frank Sinatra and Gabor's ex-husband George Sanders; Ball's disinterest in romantic roles; why she prefers comedic parts despite being "quite serious" in real life; her trip to Switzerland with husband Gary Morton and their encounter with avalanches; her encounter with the "adorable" Princess Grace of Monaco; and Gabor's potential engagement to a European duke. Gabor's daughter Francesca Hilton telephones from London and briefly chats with Gabor, West and Ball.

Next, Warren explains that they have used a computer dating services and "hundreds" of questions answered by Gabor to find her "ideal mate," and Gabor then attempts to identify the man from a group of three suitors. She selects the correct man, much to Ball's incredulity. Next, actor Marty Allen takes the stage with flowers for Gabor and discusses his unique hairstyle; his first and only marriage to his French wife Lorraine; receiving a Soldier's Medal for his quick-thinking actions during an airplane fire; and his mother's reaction to his dramatic role on "The Big Valley." Gabor offers her guests a variety of odd hats, though Ball and West decline in the interest of their hairdos, and Allen, formerly a "door-to-door" dance teacher, teaches Gabor a few musical movies.

Finally, Steve Logan takes the stage and performs "Feeling Good." He then attempts to teach Gabor and the guests a "haole hula" dance, though he is forced to slow down the movements when they fall behind. Commercials deleted.
