BROTHERS & SISTERS: LOST AND FOUND (TV)
Summary
One in this drama series about the California-based Walker family, an adult clan of siblings trying to live up to their parents' lofty expectations after the death of the family patriarch.
In this episode, Nora goes to Berkeley to see Ryan, following his phone call to ask questions about William. Saul's predictions for an awkward meeting hold true as Ryan and Nora can't seem to connect, ultimately agreeing to talk when he gets off work. Meanwhile, Kevin feels caught between Robert and Kitty following Robert's declaration to Kitty that he's running for governor. Kitty shows up at Robert's office to get material for her Times Magazine interview about her book documenting Robert's presidential campaign. Back at the Walker house. Justin tries in vain to track down Rebecca. Holly arrives and asks for her daughter's whereabouts, precipitating a fight between the two regarding Rebecca's disappearance.
In New York City, Rebecca and David become better acquainted as she helps him set up for his photo exhibit. When Justin finally makes contact with Rebecca, he assures her that he didn't tell anyone about her having hacked Tommy's Ojai computer. Meanwhile, Holly finds a set of contracts on Rebecca's desk concerning Ojai's acquisition of additional orchards. In Berkeley, Nora shows Ryan photos of William and states that she never knew about him, or his mother's affair with William. Ryan then leaves abruptly. Elsewhere, Robert takes Kitty to task for the quotes about their marriage that she gave in her interview. She admits to being angry about his latest political run. As a result, Robert doesn't reveal that he asked Kevin to kill the article. Later, Kitty tells Kevin of her marital problems.
Holly goes to Saul with the contracts, which he says are standard. Saul then seeks out Tommy and explains how he covered for him with Holly. Saul stresses that Tommy's actions appear illegal and that he's wronging Holly. Back in New York, David asks Rebecca if she's running away from her problems. She insults him and leaves in a huff; David then tracks her down in a bar, where she tells him that she thinks Tommy is trying to drive her mother out of Ojai. Back at Berkeley, Ryan shows up at Nora's lodging and she admits that she ignored William's dalliances to protect her family. Meanwhile, Kevin tells Robert that he won't kill Kitty's story.
The next day, Robert apologizes to Kitty and they agree to work out their problems. At the same time, Nora gives Ryan a ticket to Los Angeles and asks him to meet his siblings, which he agrees to do. Elsewhere, Holly learns from an Ojai lawyer how Tommy is working to take control of the company. Across town, Kitty tells Kevin that things are better with Robert. That changes, however, when Kevin reveals that Robert killed her story. In Berkeley, Nora plans her return to her family and is surprised when Ryan cancels on the trip. Finally, Rebecca prepares to return to California, and is surprised when David shows up at the airport to fly back with her. Includes commercials.
