BROTHERS & SISTERS: MORAL HAZARD (TV)

Summary

One in this drama series about the California-based Walker family, an adult clan of siblings trying to live up to their parents' lofty expectations after the death of the family patriarch.

In this episode, Graham informs Saul and Sarah that Ojai will likely go into receivership. Sarah opts to tell Nora and takes all the blame for the deal's failure. An angry Nora insists that Sarah ask Tommy to put Walker Landing up for collateral. A meeting follows, with Tommy berating Sarah, and Holly interceding to ask for a formal proposal from Sarah. Elsewhere, Robert and Kitty try to conceive "the old-fashioned way" after hearing from their doctor that the fertilization techniques have failed. Meanwhile, Justin reluctantly tells Kevin that he finds himself attracted to Rebecca. A horrified Kevin retorts that Justin should stay away from her.

Back at Ojai, Sarah tells Graham that their romance is on hold, after which Kevin questions why she hasn't fired Graham. Saul helps Nora search William's old files for hidden assets before admitting that the Ojai fiasco was his fault. Nora immediately goes to Sarah to apologize. When Tommy later tells Holly that he wants to save Ojai, she questions his actions. That night, Justin goes out with Rebecca, resulting in him revealing his feelings for her. Rebecca runs home, where she and Holly have a confrontation about David. Holly swears that she didn't know David was Rebecca's father. Rebecca calls her a liar, making Holly realize that Rebecca drove off David. Holly then forces Rebecca to find a new home. Meanwhile, Saul calls Kevin from jail, where he's been arrested for DUI. After Kevin bails him out, Saul admits that he's gay.

The next day, Holly tells Tommy that they can accept Sarah's proposal. However, she insists that Walker's Landing merge with Ojai, making her CEO while Tommy and Sarah would be co-presidents. Nora and a reluctant Sarah agree to the deal. Later, Rebecca tells Justin that William isn't her father, causing him to denounce her and ask her to leave the Walker house. Justin passes the news on to a shocked Nora. Elsewhere, Kitty tearfully lets Robert know that she can't face being disappointed over another pregnancy, just as Sarah tells Graham that they're no longer a team. Finally, Kevin makes Scotty listen to the family's travails, culminating with Saul's declaration. Kevin then proposes to Scotty, who delivers his answer with a kiss. Includes commercials.
