Highlights include: a video segment about recent homophobic overtures from many facets of society; Amaechi discussing his recent coming out as openly gay, making him the first NBA player in history to do so, the NBA’s attitudes towards homosexuality, his romantic life outside of basketball, and homophobic comments made about him by retired NBA player Tim Hardaway; Tuaolo discussing the hostile attitudes towards homosexuality engendered by the NFL, a fight in the locker room he once witnessed incited by accusations of homosexuality against an unnamed player, and his attempts to disguise his homosexuality in front of his teammates; Deadlee, Fixx, Foxxjazell, and Boykin discussing the challenges of being openly gay rappers, or in Foxxjazell’s case openly transgender, and the causes for homophobia in the hip-hop community; Ajaxx’s opposition to homosexuals in rap and his reasoning why he feels it is improper; a debate between the assembled rap artists about the “credibility” and societal expectations surrounding homosexual rappers; Smid discussing his belief that homosexuality can be removed via reparative therapy, citing himself and two other formerly gay men accompanying him; Fales and Tuscano discussing their experiences in reparative therapy and the damage they feel it caused them on a psychological level and the conclusions they came to about their own identity after deciding to leave reparative therapy.
