Summary
In this commercial for Chun King Chow Mein, producer Stan Freberg and a colleague are shown standing under a marquee with the name "Chun King" in lights. "When are we going to knock off with the hard sell and get back to the funny stuff?" Freberg's colleague asks. "When people start remembering the name and start taking Chun King Chow Mein home from the store," replies Freberg. He goes on to say that a little bit of entertainment will still be included and proceeds to introduce a dancing mechanical monkey. A fast-paced parody of several television commercials follows, including the announcer's suggestion that nine out of ten doctors recommend Chun King "to break the monotony of the same old sluggish menu."
