ESPN: PIANO {THE ONE SHOW: 1996 WINNERS REEL}

Summary

In this promotional commercial for ESPN, basketball star Grant Hill is shown seated at a piano in the lobby of ESPN's SportsCenter when announcer Dan Patrick passes by with a dejected look on his face. In reply to Hill's question about what's bugging him, Patrick explains that he had a bad show. "Hair looked bad. The teleprompter went down," he says. "Made some mistakes on some highlights." Hill says he's got a tune that will cheer him up and launches into one of those vamps stadium organists play to pump up the hometown crowd. It succeeds in bringing a smile to Patrick's face and as he walks away, he stuffs a bill in Hill's tip jar on the piano. Slogan (supered): "This is SportsCenter. ESPN."
