SNICKERS: COLOGNE {ADWEEK: BEST SPOTS OF JANUARY
1997}
Summary
In this tongue-in-cheek commercial for Snickers, a shopping channel host is joined by basketball star George Muresan to hawk a ficticious product: George Muresan Cologne. "You want to smell like me?" asks George. "Hey, who wouldn't want to smell like you, George?" says the man at his side. "I know I would." Taking a sniff, he wonders if cabbage is one of the active ingredients. "Yeah," replies George. "Chicks dig it." Meanwhile, several phone operators sit idly by a bank of silent telephones. "Not going anywhere for a while?" the announcer asks. "Grab a Snickers." Slogan (supered): "Snickers. Hungry? Why wait?"
