SOAP {EPISODE 90} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the affluent Tates and their working-class relatives, the Campbells.
In this episode, El Puerco informs his associates that the Communists are "after him." Chester crashes their meeting, angrily declaring that he will not allow Billy to join their revolution; an offended El Puerco demands a duel with "pistolas at dawn" – or "eleven-ish." Burt prepares to address the senators, and Jessica visits him to voice her concerns about his marriage to Mary, suggesting that they attend couples' therapy, to which he strongly objects.
Danny and Annie finally consummate their illicit relationship and are consumed with guilt over committing emotional "inquest," and Maggie is shocked to learn that hypnosis has turned Jodie into an "entirely different person." Elderly "Julius Kassendorf" is amazed to meet his attractive young fiancée, and she uncomfortably attempts to bond with him in the hopes of restoring his true personality. Burt gives a speech about rising crime statistics and suggests that all citizens should arm themselves – with bats – prompting two of the senators to begin plotting his assassination. Commercials deleted.
