LIZA IN LONDON (TV)

Summary

This concert program, from the London Palladium, showcases a performance by Liza Minnelli in the venue where she performed with her mother, Judy Garland, twenty-two years earlier. The program begins with Minnelli singing “New York, New York” as an encore number to her show, then reflecting back ninety minutes to when she began the performance. Minnelli then encores with “Cabaret.” After thanking the audience for its support, Minnelli returns to the stage for a final song: “The World Goes ‘Round.”
