MR. PEEPERS: ARMY BUDDIES (TV)
Summary
One in this series of live comedies concerning the life of Robinson Peepers, a mild-mannered junior high school science teacher.
Mr. Peepers' old army buddy Howard is coming to town, and he wants Peepers to set him and his friend up with dates for the night. He asks Harvey for help, but he has long-since discarded his "little black book." He suggests asking Nancy if she has any single friends who would be available; Peepers does so that night after his date with her. They manage to find dates, but one of them suddenly cancels. Peepers suggests that Nancy act as Howard's date for the night, and she agrees.
Peepers and company go out to an Italian restaurant. He and Howard reminisce on their time in the army together. Howard and Nancy share several dances, although Nancy grows increasingly frustrated that Peepers won't dance with her as well. Finally she has Peepers take her home and she confronts him about it. Peepers apologizes and they reconcile. Includes commercials.
