THAT'S LIFE: OUR WEDDING (TV)

Summary

A musical situation comedy detailing a relationship between two people from beginning to end. Robert and Gloria go to city hall ("Follow the Arrows") in order to get their marriage license. Robert is apprehensive about getting it but is still determined to get married, and both of them contemplate what it means for them ("Once in a Lifetime"). Now only one thing remains before the wedding: Robert must meet Gloria's parents, who are distraught over their daughter getting married. They are concerned that Gloria is rushing into things and could make a mistake, but Gloria insists otherwise. Robert arrives and Mr. Quigley talks with him alone; Robert manages to convince him to change his mind about the marriage. Robert and Gloria leave, and Mr. and Mrs. Quigley discuss their own marriage ("Do You Love Me?"). Gloria and Robert attend a bridal shower and bachelor party respectively. Their opinions on the upcoming marriage wildly differ ("I Can Hardly Wait"). Gloria's friend Mary Jane sings at her bridal shower ("Marriage") and also appears from out of a cake at Robert's bachelor party ("Big Spender"). At the Quigley household, preparations ensue for the wedding and Mr. Quigley panics over the many bills he has to pay for it. He tries to convince Mrs. Quigley to call the wedding off, but she won't. Robert arrives and Mr. Quigley attempts to convince Robert to elope ("Behind Every Man"). Nevertheless, the wedding ceremony commences as planned and Robert and Gloria are wed ("Once in a Lifetime" (reprise)). Includes commercials.
