HOME IMPROVEMENT: AT SEA {SIXTH SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the host of a cable television fix-it show and his wife and three sons.
Tim and Al are invited on board the U.S.S. Constellation aircraft carrier in order to showcase some of its equipment and machinery. The kids are preparing to go back to school and Jill notices that Brad is growing very close to his girlfriend Angela. Jill comes home one day to discover Brad and Angela making out in his room, and Angela leaves in a panic. She and Brad get into an argument and she comes to believe that he was about to have sex, much to her horror. She decides to ground him and speaks to Tim about the matter when he returns from the U.S.S. Constellation. She asks him to sit down and talk to Brad about how far his relationship has gone, and to give him advice about sexual relationships. Tim does not feel confident in his ability to properly speak to Brad about the subject, however.
Tim attempts to speak to Brad about his relationship, but can't bring himself to do it. He tries again after getting some insight into the situation from Wilson. While working on the hot rod together, Tim stumbles about with clumsy metaphors until he finally decides to be straightforward with Brad about his sex life. Brad reveals that he has not yet had sex and at his request Tim talks about his early sexual experiences and how he feels he was too young and irresponsible to handle them properly. He advises Brad to wait until he is older and more mature to engage in sexual relationships, and Brad seems to take this advice to heart. Includes commercials.
