FRASIER: ADVENTURES IN PARADISE {PART 2 OF 2} (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about Frasier Crane, a divorced psychiatrist who lives in Seattle and hosts a phone-in radio show. In this second half of this two-part episode, Frasier is upset to see that Lilith has brought her new beau, seismologist Brian, to "their" place in Bora Bora, though Madeline attempts to be gracious and invites Lilith and Brian to dinner. Before the meal, however, Frasier attempts to make Lilith jealous with pretend sounds of passionate lovemaking – but is caught in the act by all three bemused parties. Back in Seattle, an abashed Frasier apologizes to Madeline over the air, and she finally calls him back just as Roz sets her sights on a depressed caller.

As Daphne, Niles and Martin head off to the ballet, in which Maris has won an awkward walk-on part, Madeline visits Frasier and agrees to forget about his embarrassing actions. He assures her that he has no plans to ever reconcile with his ex and the two finally prepare to consummate their relationship, but when Lilith arrives unexpectedly, Madeline decides that the relationship is "too complicated" and departs. Lilith confides to a shocked Frasier that Brian has proposed to her, and when the others return, they are overjoyed to learn that Lilith is officially moving on to someone else. Frasier kindly congratulates her, and Lilith urges him to fix things with Madeline. Back in Bora Bora, Frasier is stunned to find that his hotel neighbor is now Shelley Chambers from Boston – but he awakens from the nightmare, revealing that he has traveled to the island with Niles instead.
