SPIN CITY: KLUMAGEDDON, PART 2 {SEASON THREE FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the Deputy Mayor of New York City and his co-workers at City Hall as they deal with problems both professional and personal. Mike attempts to convince Nikki that he has no feelings for Heidi, but his efforts soon fail. Paul starts giving Stacey massages, attracting attention from their co-workers. Janelle tells Mike that she plans to break up with the mayor, as she cannot foresee a future for their relationship. Worried about the effect it will have on him, Mike proposes that he carry out Janelle's break-up in her stead. Mike discusses his plans with Carter. Nikki overhears their conversation and believes that Mike is talking about breaking up with her, leaving her upset. Paul sees James giving Stacey a massage and gets jealous. Mike talks to the mayor on Janelle's behalf; he realizes that she had been trying to give him this news for some time, but he would not listen. Mike tries to tell Heidi that they should avoid each other for the time being, but Nikki sees the two of them together and believes that Mike is hitting on Heidi. Stuart brings Rags into the office in an attempt to impress Heidi. When she takes a liking to Rags, Stuart offers to give him to her, and she accepts. Nikki, furious at Mike, breaks up with him and storms out of the office. The next day, Mike and Nikki try to go about their business, but there is a great deal of tension between the two that is obvious to everyone else, making them uncomfortable. Carter discovers that Rags is missing and is concerned about him, unaware that he is being carried around by Heidi. Mike, Carter, and the mayor head to a bar to commiserate about their losses. While Mike and the mayor are in the bathroom, Stuart enters with Heidi and Rags, still trying to impress her. Carter sees them and Stuart's plot is exposed. Heidi gives Rags back to him, although Rags is extremely reluctant to return to Carter. Paul and James have a "fight" between their respective massage techniques, replete with bizarre sexual overtures. The mayor resolves to try to get over losing Janelle, although his method of doing so is not as "professional" as he thinks. Mike and Heidi drink together, as she is upset over the loss of Rags. Nikki discovers from Carter that the conversation she overheard earlier was not about her, and realizes that she's made a terrible mistake. The next morning, Mike, experiencing a terrible hangover, is visited by Nikki, who apologizes for her misunderstanding and asks him to take her back. He does so immediately, but matters are complicated when he discovers Heidi awakening in his bed, with no memory of what transpired the previous night. Includes commercials. Also includes an "ESPN SportsCenter Update" with Rich Eisen.
