Summary

In this episode, Bob and Emily are surprised by a visit from her parents, Aggie and Junior Harrison. Howard arrives to join in as they begin teasing their quiet son-in-law, as usual. Bob admits to Emily that he finds it hard to "jump in" with her chatty family. At the office, he tells Jerry that Emily seems to become far more cheery and outgoing around her parents. The Harrisons stop by and instantly win over Carol and Howard; Bob, also struggling to help anxious patient Michelle, who has father issues of her own, is frustrated to be constantly one-upped by Junior.
Back at home, Emily tries to answer her parents' nosy queries about her marriage and their lack of children; elsewhere, Bob's friends advise him to really impress the in-laws by taking them to a fancy rotating restaurant on top of a building. Once there, Bob tries to ignore the hefty prices. Junior finally admits that he is somewhat "envious" of Bob, as he has clearly won Emily's heart. Bob confesses to the same, realizing that they have both been trying to impress one another. Determined to remain gallant, he demands to cover the check — belatedly realizing that he has accidentally paid for their fellow diners' bill as well as their own. Includes commercials and promos.
