WALT DISNEY WORLD SUMMER JAM CONCERT {SUGAR RAY, DREAM} (TV)
Summary
This televised concert special, held at the Disney theme parks in Florida and California as well as other Disney-related locations, celebrates the beginning of summer 2001 with musical performances. The program begins as Shaggy performs "Angel" and Sugar Ray performs "When It's Over" from Disney World. At the California Adventure park at Disneyland, English pop group BBMak begins a countdown of the top-ten fun summer activities while enjoying some of the theme park rides. The Baha Men perform "Who Let the Dogs Out?" from Epcot in Florida, and aboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship in the Bahamas, Dream performs "He Loves U Not." Shaggy visits MGM Studios and rides the Tower of Terror, and the Baha Men enjoy a safari at the Animal Kingdom. At California Adventure, BBMak performs "Unpredictable," while back at MGM Studios the members of Sugar Ray visit the new "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?" attraction. Baha Men perform "Getting Hotter," and BBMak goes on a hike at California Adventure and then takes a white-water rafting ride back down the mountain. Dream visits Castaway Cay in the Bahamas, and Shaggy performs "Hope" from MGM Studios. BBMak performs "Ghost of You and Me" from California, and Shaggy makes friends with Mickey Mouse as the Baha Men enjoy a "road trip" theme park ride. Dream performs "This Is Me," and BBMak introduces rising pop star Myra, who performs part of her song "Miracles Happen (When You Believe)". Sugar Ray then closes the program with "Every Morning." Includes commercials and promos.
