DR. KILDARE: THE TASTE OF CROW (TV)
Summary
One in this series of medical dramas. In the fourth episode of a five-part story arc, Jim tells Milton that he thinks he's discovered the cause of Yvonne's problems: a neuromuscular disease, myasthenia gravis. When Leonard commends Jim on his good work, Carl apologizes for his earlier actions. Jaime is concerned when Yvonne brushes off Jim's attempts to get her back to the hospital. She then tells Jaime that she doesn't love him and only cares about her dancing. Carl goes to Yvonne's apartment and "eats crow" by telling her about her likely prognosis. Upon arriving back at Blair General, Yvonne begins to act surly. Elsewhere, Leonard informs Jeff that his application for a residency at Blair has been turned down. Yvonne begins work with neurologist Max Gunther. Carl soon tells Yvonne that tests have proven Jim's diagnosis to be correct, ensuring that she can never become a professional dancer. When Carl leaves the room, Yvonne attempts suicide by taking pills. Later, Jim and Zoe find Yvonne and desperately try to resuscitate her. Commercials deleted.
