LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON, THE {BUZZ ALDRIN, METHOD MAN, JOHN MENDOZA}

Summary

One in this late-night comedy talk show hosted by Craig Ferguson. This episode features astronaut Buzz Aldrin, rapper/director Method Man, and comedian John Mendoza.

In his opening monologue, Ferguson discusses some criticism that he received for poking fun at the city of Toronto, known for its excessive "civic pride"; why he loves the "self-loathing" city of Los Angeles, despite natives' many complaints; and memories of his not-so-glamorous former residence in New York City. Ferguson then discusses his frustration with bathroom-less Starbucks, noting that CEO Howard Schultz has declined to appear on the program. He then introduces a brief installment of "Michael Caine in Space." Daniel McVicar, who stars on "The Bold and the Beautiful," stops by later to express his annoyance that Ferguson has landed a part in a cheesy vampire film, and they share an appropriately soap opera-like dramatic scene.

Next, Aldrin chats with Ferguson about his strong feelings on those who claim the moon landing was a hoax, as demonstrated in a 2002 viral video; his thoughts on both Toronto and L.A.; his post-landing thoughts of the moon as "a friend"; memories of the cramped spacecraft in which he traveled; why he filed a travel voucher with the government upon returning to Earth; and his new kids' book, "Reaching for the Moon."

Method Man then joins Ferguson and discusses the origins of his "block name"; his both "nice and tough" upbringing on Long Island; the backstory of the formation of his hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan; and his direction of a documentary film, "The Strip Game" (2005), which profiles the lives of several exotic dancers.

Finally, Mendoza takes the stage and jokes about "ugly people" and advice for alcoholics, and then chats with Ferguson about their gate-crashing of a boring party; his recent Bravo special with comedian Howie Mandel; and his thoughts on the reality series "Being Bobby Brown." Includes commercials and promos.
