Highlights include: the hosts play "Gloria" by U2; Lisa May gives the Los Angeles traffic report; Kevin and Bean then play "Name" by the Goo Goo Dolls; next there's a news update from "Doc on the Roq" and a sports report from Jimmy "The Sports Guy" Kimmel; the hosts then play "Tomorrow" by Silverchair; the entertainment news focuses on Colin Powell's possible plans to run for president, the controversy over the movie "Showgirls," and the new television season; Kevin and Bean play "I Don't Owe You Anything" by the Foo Fighters; Deborah Norville, the host of "Inside Edition," then joins the hosts in the studio; she talks about living in New York City, her past television work, quitting CBS because of the extensive traveling involved with the job, and what the near future has in store for her; the hosts then play "Mirror in the Bathroom" by Oingo Boingo; "Rockin' Fig" gives the beach/surf report; next Kevin and Bean play "Today" by the Smashing Pumpkins; they talk about their plans to find fellow disc jockey and hated rival, Rick Dees, who happens to also be broadcasting from New York; they then play "A Girl Like You" by Edwin Collins; "Michael the Maintenance Man" goes to Rick Dees's hotel suite with a bullhorn in order to disturb him; instead of Dees coming to the door, however, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger appears; the hosts then play "It's the End of the World (As We Know It)" by REM; and Kevin and Bean convince Michael to continue to look for Dees's room Dees.
