Summary

Host Ted McGraw plays recordings of the following artists and songs, among others: Eileen O'Brien and Willy Fogarty perform a fiddle and accordian duet of Paddy O'Brien's "Joe Cooley's Hornpipe"; P.J. Murrihy sings "Mother Theresa"; Eileen O'Brien performs a selection of fiddle solos; John McNally sings "Father Murphy" by P.J. McCall and Seamus Eagan; John Williams, and Tony Cuff perform a medley of reels; the Coreys sing "The Massacre of Clencoe"; violinist Alistair Fraser performs "Way Out to Hope Street"; Josephine Marsh plays a medley of reels on the button accordion; John McCormack sings "The Meeting of the Waters" from an August 9, 1940, recording; the concertina champion Chris Droney plays the three reels "Coleman's Cross," "Over the Moors to Maggie," and "The Wind that Shakes the Barley"; and Johnny Whelan performs a medley of reels including "Father Maroney," "Ninety-Five South," and "Granny Barnes" from his "Celtic Crossroads" CD. The program ends with singer Ann Kelly performing "Peace in Erin." Includes commercials.
