Summary
One in this mystery series about the adventures of Peggy Delaney, a popular Toronto news columnist. In this program, Peggy is working undercover to apprehend a gang of bikers. Carlos calls Peggy every night to let her know how he is doing; he calls one night with the news that several cops are staking out two bikers who recently killed a cop. The deceased cop's best friend, Adam Collins, is part of the stakeout, and Carlos wants to prevent the team from seeking illegal retribution for their friend's murder. Eager to help, Peggy pays Adam a visit at home, and later follows him. Her investigating leads her and Carlos to deduce Adam and his team's plan; they are going to blow the bikers up and blame it on a rival gang. Peggy uses Adam's wife Becky to inform Adam of what she and Carlos know -- and to warn him that Peggy will put the story all over the papers if they don't back out.
