One in this series of variety programs produced by the Armed Forces Radio Services during World War II, featuring black musical artists. Hosted by Ernie "Bubbles" Whitman, this program features Sgt. Edward A. Carter, a former sergeant who was decorated at the Battle of the Bulge. Carter introduces guest singers Ivy Anderson and Joe Turner, both of whom are accompanied by Johnny Otis and His Orchestra. Anderson sings "Tall, Dark and Handsome," Turner sings "S. K. Blues," and additionally, Turner and Anderson, accompanied by The Jubilee Allstars and Johnny Otis and His Orchestra, perform "How High The Moon," "I Love My Baby" and "Empty Bed Blues."
