BLONDIE: BLONDIE'S SON RUNS AWAY (RADIO)
Summary
One in this comedy series based on Chic Young's popular
comic strip about the life of offbeat accountant Dagwood
Bumstead, his wife Blondie, and their two children --
Alexander and Cookie. In this episode, Alexander wishes
he could own a billy goat, but both Dagwood and Blondie
oppose the idea. In response, Alexander threatens to
run away and join the circus. Dagwood convinces Blondie
that they should pretend not to care in order to teach
Alexander that he cannot threaten to run away every
time he wants something he is not allowed to have.
However, when Blondie tells Dagwood that Alexander has
carried out his threat, Dagwood goes to search for his
son. Meanwhile, Dagwood's boss, Mr. Dithers, nurses a
terrible headache after going to a meeting of the Tiger
Club. Includes commercials and promos.
