Summary

One in this series of Western adventures for children featuring the masked hero the Lone Ranger and his Indian sidekick Tonto. This episode begins with a special announcement about the Lone Ranger's 20th anniversary on the air. In this episode, the Lone Ranger and his nephew, Dan Reid, return to the canyon where a shoot-out between the Cavendish gang and six Texas Rangers gave birth to the Lone Ranger legend. The Cavendish gang thought they had killed all of the Rangers, but the Lone Ranger survived, feigned his death, and later took revenge on all but one member of the Cavendish gang. That final member, Cavendish himself, surprises the Lone Ranger when he breaks out of jail and also returns to the canyon. Includes commercials for Cheerios.
