JACK BENNY'S TRIBUTE TO CAROLE LOMBARD (RADIO)

Summary

This brief tribute pays homage to screen actress Carole Lombard, who met a tragic death on January 16th, 1942, when the TWA airplaine she was aboard crashed into mountains near Las Vegas, Nevada. Lombard was returning to Hollywood from Indianapolis where she had volunteered at a U.S. Treasury War Bond Sale.
