I SPY: TRIAL BY TREEHOUSE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of dramas about two unconventional secret agents. In this episode, Kelly and Scott pose as factory workers in order to locate a madman who is working with a group of terrorists. Scott draws the attention of the madman, Bernie, by staging a fight with Kelly and then showing his defiance to authority. In order for Bernie to really trust Scott, he follows them and watches as Scott stages Kelly's death. Scott is accepted into the terrorists' group by its leader, Prince Edward. Prince Edward tells Scott of his plan to shut off the entire power supply to California and needs Scott to help because of his knowledge of electronics. Kelly and Scott's plan backfires, however, when Bernie's mother discovers their true identities. Prince Edward decides to hold Vickie -- a spy who has drawn Scott's interest-- and her son Randy hostage until Scott finishes the job. Commercials deleted.
