Summary
One in this series of talk/variety shows hosted by Jack Paar. On this program, Paar's guests are actress/singer Liza Minnelli, his daughter Randy Paar, actress Genevieve, actor Don Adams, and the Muppets, played by Jim Henson and Jane Nebel. Highlights include: Paar opens with a monologue; Minnelli sings a medley of "The Way You Look Tonight" and "They Can't Take That Away from Me"; Paar's daughter, Randy, conducts interviews with British and Irish children about what they like or dislike about American children and American habits; Geneviene sings some Irish songs to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday; she also talks about French television, how proud she is to be an American citizen, and buying an apartment for her father in Paris; Adams does a stand-up comedy routine involving a character he created which mocks the courtroom/lawyer-style shows on television; Henson and Nebel, the puppeteers for the Muppets, do a routine with Minnelli singing "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face."
