LUCY SHOW, THE: LUCY VISITS THE WHITE HOUSE (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series starring Lucille Ball as Lucy Carmichael. In this episode, den mothers Lucy and Vivian help their Cub Scout troop build a replica of the White House from sugar cubes, a project coinciding with the group's pending visit to Washington, D.C. Wanting to meet President Kennedy, Lucy calls the White House to offer to make a presentation of the replica. Her plan pays off, or so it seems. On the train ride to Washington, Lucy and Vivian struggle with where to store the large replica, accidentally destroying it in the process -- and presumably their "ticket" to the White House. Lucy and Vivian decide to pull an all-nighter and quickly rebuild it. But there's one problem: where to find 3,000 sugar cubes. Commercials deleted.
