STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES: THE THOLIAN WEB (TV)
Summary
One in the series of science fiction programs about the voyages of the U.S.S. Enterprise. In this episode, Captain Kirk is stranded on a drifting starship when it suddenly disappears. Spock calculates that the flickering "ghost ship" will reappear in a matter of hours, at which time the Enterprise can rescue the captain. Rescue efforts are hampered, however, by the intervention of the Tholians, an alien race who trap the Enterprise in an enormous energy web. An outbreak of madness among the crew further complicates the situation. With Kirk presumed dead, Spock and McCoy are forced to work together to save the Enterprise. Commercials deleted.
