MAVERICK: SEED OF DECEPTION {FIRST SEASON FINALE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of offbeat western dramas about the Mavericks, unlikely heroes who prefer gambling to gunplay. When both Bret and Bart show up in the same town, the locals desperately want to believe that theyÕre really Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp, not just the Maverick brothers. The town is fearful of the Mundy family, who are plotting to break into the bank and will put the town out of business if they succeed. The Mundys throw a party in the local saloon to distract everyone from the bank building and cover up the noise theyÕre going to make breaking into it. When the Mundys think that Bart has overheard them, they pick a fight and shoot him. Bret gets suspicious, keeps tabs on the Mundys that night, and eventually catches the criminal clan in the act. Includes commercials and promos.
