TAKING THE TOWN {MY SISTER SAM} {UNAIRED PILOT} (TV)
Summary
An unaired pilot for a series about a product photographer named Chris, who resides in San Francisco, and her younger sister, Patti, who is an aspiring rock star. In this episode, Chris gives up a weekend trip with her current beau, Jonathan, after her sixteen-year-old sister arrives unexpectedly from Portland, Oregon. Patti announces that she intends to move in with her older sister. At first, Chris is not keen on the idea, but after spending a couple of days with her sister she finds the concept more appealing. Meanwhile, Chris attempts to please a finicky client, who feels that her photos should depict a hamburger that "communicates" with the viewer. No commercials.
(Series title varies; this series was telecast on CBS under the title "My Sister Sam" from 1986 to 1988.)
