Summary
A music/variety special, hosted by Bobby Darin and featuring singer Joanie Sommers and comedian Bob Hope. Kennedy's appearances on television, and the Portuguese liner that was hi-jacked; Joanie Sommers sings a solo; dancers perform a "street ballet," reminiscent of the choreography of "West Side Story"; Darin sings "Some People," "I've Had It," and "Lucky Pierre"; Bob Hope and Bobby Darin perform a variety of vaudeville jokes; Hope and Darin sing a comedy version of "Down By the Old Mill Stream"; Joanie Sommers, Bobby Darin, and Bob Hope perform "Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey?"; and Darin closes the show with "By Myself" and a comment to the audience about giving to the Heart Association.
