
ROUTE 66: A GIFT FOR A WARRIOR (TV)
Summary
One in this series of dramas about the adventures of two young men who travel across the country in a Corvette. In this episode, Tod and Buz pick up Eric, a young German ship's crewman, who has jumped ship in southern California in order to find and kill his father. Buz immediately distrusts Eric, who tells the pair only that he is going to meet his American father for the first time. Buz and Tod grow even more suspicious when they find a gun in Eric's belongings. After all three of them take picking jobs on a large vegetable farm, Buz and Tod learn of Eric's real intention -- to murder his unsuspecting father, whom he blames for deserting his pregnant mother in Germany during World War II. Commercials deleted.
