Summary
One in this drama series that reveals David Lynch's sinister, surreal portrait of small-town life. In this episode, Agent Cooper explains to Audrey that they can only be friends; Lucy gets disturbing news from her doctor; Agent Cooper leaves a voice-activated tape recorder next to Waldo the mynah bird in order to gain clues about Laura's death; the piece of plastic in Laura's stomach turns out to be part of a poker chip from One-Eyed Jacks; Leo spots Bobby cuddling with Shelly, who confesses she fired shots at Leo; Maddy, James, and Donna decide to investigate Dr. Jacoby after listening to Laura's tape; Audrey overhears Emory discussing escorts at One-Eyed Jacks and decides to become one herself; Nadine is furious because she failed to get the patent for silent drapery runners; Josie tells Harry about Catherine and Ben's plan to burn down the mill, while Catherine discovers her ledger is missing; Cooper and Ed venture to One-Eyed Jacks in order to find Jacques; Leo shoots Waldo, but only after the bird divulges some revealing information; Jerry tells Ben to arrange for the Icelanders to visit One-Eyed Jacks; Ben tells Josie that she must coerce Catherine into visiting the mill; Bobby plants a package of drugs in James' motorcycle; and Maddy dresses up as Laura in order to lure Dr. Jacoby from his office so Donna and James can search it.
