P.O.V. {POINT OF VIEW}: ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE (TV)
Summary
One in this series of independently produced documentaries. Filmmaker Peter Adair, finding himself diagnosed HIV-positive, made a film about himself and other people living with the virus. The men and women he interviews come from all segments of the HIV-positive population -- gay men, former IV-drug users, and people who contracted the virus from blood transfusions and from heterosexual intercourse. Adair explores the problems that they have had to face and how they are coping with the day-to-day realities of the disease.
