AMERICAN PLAYHOUSE: MEDAL OF HONOR RAG (TV)

Summary

One in this dramatic anthology series. Inspired by the case of a real-life Vietnam veteran, Tom Cole's adaptation of his own stage play calls into question the difference between being a survivor and a victim. Vietnam vet Dale Jackson (Leake), recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor, is haunted by both the voices of his dead buddies and the ghosts of the victims whom he killed in battle. Jackson's psychiatrist (Elizondo) tells him, "You haven't been spared. You're still suffering."
