CAPITOL CRITTERS: MAX GOES TO WASHINGTON {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The first in this short-lived satirical cartoon series about the mice, rats, and roaches who live under the White House -- including Max, a Nebraska field mouse. In this episode, Max's family is wiped out by exterminators. His mother's final request is that he go to Washington, D.C., and find his cousin Berkeley. After hitching a plane ride to the nation's capital, Max meets Jammet, a tough pack rat, at the airport. Jammet is supposed to lead Max to the White House but is accidentally packed into someone's car, leaving Max to find his own way. Max hops onto a bus, narrowly makes it to the White House, and is happily reunited with Berkeley. He makes some new friends, including Trixie, Jammet's mother; Muggle, a combustible ex-lab rat; and Moze, a streetwise roach who rescues Max from a White House fumigation. Includes commercials, promos, and public service announcements. Public service announcements include Judith Light for Project Literacy U.S. This program is closed-captioned.
