Summary

One in this series of comedy/variety programs featuring Jim Henson's Muppets, and hosted by the group's genial emerald ringleader, Kermit the Frog. This episode, starring Lena Horne, centers around Kermit's decision to cut Miss Piggy's song from the show. The acts include: a group of rag mops called The Rag Mops singing "Ragg Mopp"; Horne performing "I Got a Name"; a Muppet News Flash about the dangers of eating seaweed; relationship jokes in "The Ballroom"; a plateful of spaghetti attacking the Swedish chef; Horne performing "I'm Glad There Is You" to cheer up the Great Gonzo after his act fails; Fozzie getting heckled by Statler and Waldorf during his stand-up routine; and the muppets joining Horne in singing "Sing." Commercials deleted.
