Summary
One in this dramatic anthology series. This program is one of three features in "The Sunset Gang," a trilogy about a retirement community in Florida. The trilogy includes "The Detective" and "The Home," and is based on a series of short stories by Warren Adler. "Yiddish" is about the late-blooming relationship between Bill Finkelstein (Gould) and Jenny Goldfarb (Hughes), two residents of Sunset Village who are both confined to loveless, long-term marriages. When the two meet for the first time at the local Yiddish club and fall in love, they must decide if their passion for one another is stronger than the guilt that breaking up with their spouses would cause. This program includes an introduction by actress Linda Lavin, who serves as executive producer for the trilogy.
