Summary
In this comedy/variety special featuring Jim Henson's Muppets, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy go out to dinner and reminisce about the years that they have spent together. Included are many clips from "The Muppet Show," featuring Raquel Welch, Tony Randall, Cheryl Ladd, and Loretta Swit, among others. Miss Piggy and Kermit reflect on their often turbulent relationship, and recall many memories, including the first time they met; Miss Piggy's poodle, Foo Foo, performing on "The Muppet Show" as "Foo Foo the Wonder Dog"; and Miss Piggy's wedding sketch with Kermit. Musical highlights include a fantasy sketch featuring Kermit at the doctor's office, singing "Coconut"; Miss Piggy, dressed as Carmen Miranda, singing "Quanto Le Gusta"; Piggy singing a calypso love song about Kermit and a torch song, "Mad about the Frog"; Kermit singing to a Muppet pig, Lydia the Tattooed Lady, accompanied by Rowlf and Animal on drums; Miss Piggy and Link Hogthrob singing "True Love" in a jungle setting; and Miss Piggy and Kermit performing a duet rendition of "I Won't Dance" and a Hawaiian love song with Kermit on the ukelele. No commercials.
