ROSEANNE: GUILT BY DISASSOCIATION (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Roseanne and Dan Conner, a working-class couple who live in Lanford, Illinois, and their three kids, D.J., Darlene, and Becky. In this episode, Roseanne has a successful job interview, and excitedly calls home to say that she has found work. However, when the personnel representative discovers that Roseanne does not know how to use a computer, the job falls through. Roseanne returns home to a surprise party held in her honor and finds out that her friends have found success since they quit the plastics factory where she had also worked. Roseanne tells Dan that she fears that he thinks she is a failure and is mad at her for quitting her previous job, but it turns out that it is Roseanne herself who feels like a failure.
