YOUNG INDIANA JONES CHRONICLES, THE: LONDON, MAY 1916 (TV)
Summary
One in this adventure series about a young American who travels the world and becomes involved with the historical figures and events of his time. In this episode, young Indiana Jones enlists in the Belgium Army. While waiting for his orders, he decides to go to Oxford to visit his tutor, Miss Seymour. On the way, Indy meets a suffragette, Vicky Prentiss, and invites her to travel with him to Oxford. Miss Seymour asks Indy and Vicky to accompany her to a dinner with Winston Churchill. There, Vicky argues for voting rights for women. Thinking that she had created an embarrassing scene, she later apologizes to Miss Seymour, but finds the tutor more understanding than she expected. Soon after, Indy receives word that it is time for him to ship out. Before he goes, he asks Vicky to marry him, but she doesn't think marriage would be a good idea. Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
